eXoSpace Combat Engineer lets you snap and rotate parts into a ship without a fixed grid, then take it through bounty missions and real-time battles. Your weapons, thrust, armor and energy all compete for space in the same design. Custom drones add another choice: improve the mothership, or let a carrier launch smaller ships to do part of the fighting.
These guides focus on the decisions that can stop a run: controls that will not respond, technology you want to change, a route with too little fuel, or a drone that does not behave as expected. Choose the problem you have now, get the practical answer first, and follow the related guide when the next decision comes up.
What changed in Update 95?
The October 2 update added native Linux and built-in controller support, revised the tutorials, and added mirrored editing for selected parts. It also fixed several drone, editor and out-of-fuel problems. If an older tip tells you to force a compatibility layer or rely on a hangar loophole, check which version it describes before trying it.
